Lawrence Merchandising Services is proud to be one of the few
merchandising service organizations in the country with direct
relationships with some of America�s largest value chains. We
currently service on an ongoing basis over 5000 value store
locations nationwide.
The Dollar chains largest
challenge with its accessories program was to find a way to keep
the accessory fixtures full of product and set to a workable
planogram. The product tended to have picked over displays and
product falling off of the fixtures. It was also very difficult
to introduce new product and seasonal items to the fixture. The
Dollar retailer needed a workable solution. The Dollar Retailer
had already decided a new fixture was needed but needed an
answer on how to keep the fixture set to planogram with out
excessive out of stock fixtures and pegs.
The Management Team at Lawrence Merchandising Services consulted with The Dollar Retailer
concerning their fixture needs. We created a program that
allowed for a schematic flow of the product on the display that
was visually merchandised. The product is set to color, style,
and size. We also created an in store program to teach the store
personal how to maintain the fixture between service calls.
Lawrence Merchandising Services
competed with two other national service companies to create a
solution. In the end Lawrence Merchandising Services�s strategy
resulted in higher sales than the other MSO�s. The stores
maintained the fixture correctly between service calls. Our
strong communication to the field and our willingness to
implement the buyer�s vision helped us to earn the opportunity
to enhance The Dollar Retailers performance and presentation at
the store level.
