Lawrence Merchandising Services currently performs
multiple merchandising services in all Eckerd stores. We service
Accessories, Cosmetics, and Heath and Beauty products for
Vendors with products in Eckerd. We have also supported new
product test in Eckerd with great success.
A manufacturer of a personalized accessories line received a 100 store test in Eckerd in the North East. The manufacturer needed all displays containing over 96 sku's of product to be set in one week's time.
The Lawrence Merchandising Services team partnered with the manufacturer to
ensure success. Both sides saw the project as a huge growth potential for both the manufacturer and Lawrence Merchandising Services. Our professional Account Management team worked with the field to
ensure that all the service representatives were trained in advance of the set date to
ensure a seamless new product set. In areas of coverage challenges we sent our Area Team Leads to these locations to set product or to train newly hired representatives. All field reps were required to call the store in advance of service and go through a pre-call check list with the store to
ensure the both the store and the representative were ready to meet product.
Lawrence Merchandising Services ensured that all 100 stores were set in the one week window. Only one store had display challenges. The service representative called in to the home office from the store. In moments the display challenge was rectified. The product had an immediate sales success in the 100 test Eckerd's locations. Lawrence Merchandising Services was the asked to set an additional 1700 Eckerd's stores in the month of July 2003. Our representatives successfully set over 100 new stores a day. We continue to provide monthly service to these same stores and we assist the manufacturer in placing re-orders and inventory. We currently turn orders for the manufacturer in 24 hours of the service visit.
