Lawrence Merchandising Services currently performs
multiple merchandising services in all Wal-Mart locations nation
wide. We service Accessories, Cosmetics, and Heath and Beauty
products for Vendors with products in Wal-Mart. We have also
supported new product testing in Wal-Mart with great success.
A manufacturer of a line of eyewear both sunglasses and readers received a 250 store test in Wal-Mart. The manufacturer needed all eyewear displays containing over 96 sku's of product to be set upon the product meeting the stores with an ongoing monthly service visit.
The Lawrence Merchandising Services team partnered with the manufacturer to ensure success. Both sides saw the project as a huge growth potential for both the manufacturer and Lawrence Merchandising Services. Our professional Account Management team worked with the field to ensure that all the service representatives were trained in advance of the set date to
ensure a seamless new product set and seasonal product return. In areas of coverage challenges we sent our Area Team Leads to these locations to set product or to train newly hired representatives. All field reps were required to call the store in advance of service and go through a pre-call check list with the store to ensure that both the store and the representative were ready to support the new product
Lawrence Merchandising Services ensured that all 250 stores were set in a one week window. A few of the stores had display challenges. The service representatives called in to the home office from the store. In moments the display challenges were rectified. The product had an immediate sales success in the 250 Wal-Mart test locations. Lawrence Merchandising Services was the asked to set and support an additional 2500 Wal-Mart stores on an ongoing basis. Our representatives successfully set over 200 new stores a day. We continue to provide monthly service to these same stores and we assist the manufacturer in staging returns, new product set and inventory.
